Gallaher’s Green are a UK rock band who have their roots firmly planted in a rock’n’roll field which cultivated the rhythm of the Rolling Stones, the power of Guns N’ Roses, the pure energy of Foo Fighters and the anthemic qualities which Oasis reinvigorated in the mid-90’s.

Lead singer and rhythm guitarist Jon Olphert from Antrim and bass player Ian Gallagher from Oldham met whilst serving in the RAF in Iraq in 2008. In 2017, whilst at a Guns N' Roses concert, the pair realised that they were both without bands for the first time and decided to form Gallaher's Green. The band name came from an old brand of cigarettes called Gallaher's De Luxe Green made by the Gallaher Tobacco Co in Northern Ireland.

The pair worked tirelessly on crafting the 13 tracks for their debut album 'Lucky 13', which was recorded over 5 days, the old school way at Blueprint Studios, Salford in July 2020 and was released on 12th February 2021.  ‘Lucky 13’ is currently being remixed and remastered and will be re-released in spring 2024.

In April 2022, Gallaher's Green recorded their full length follow up album 'Dare To Dream' at Voltalab studios, Rochdale which was released on 31st March 2023. The third single from 'Dare To Dream' entitled ‘Memphis’ was inspired when a close friend was very seriously injured after stepping on an improvised explosive device whilst serving as a military working dog handler in Afghanistan. This song was released as a charity single in aide of the RAF Benevolent Fund and raised over £1k.

The band are currently preparing to re-enter the studio to record their third studio album with new drummer Tom Leather from St Helens and new lead guitarist Jamie Lamont from Cheshire.
